Dear Friends,
We have a very special prayer request in the photos below. As I was finishing writing this letter, we got a phone call concerning the death of a lady, a pastor's wife, that was just here helping on the 24th. It's in the pictures below...please help us pray for this precious family...
For all who have prayed for Karen's neck, we report that it is some better but still being kept in a neck brace. Karen made a trip to the States for the 8th grade and 12 grade graduations of our son Reuben's girls in North Carolina, and stayed with our grand-daughter Virginia, Jenny's daughter, in Tennessee.
At the end of June Karen will be flying to Old Crow, Yukon with a team to hold VBS. So pray for this Outreach. It is a lot of work for Karen to manage the whole thing. We will be having several other VBS's here in July and in August Child Evangelism Fellowship will be sending a team to help with several more VBS's, including one at the Big Horn Reserve in the mountains. Karen will be directing these also.
The month of May closed with us packing and moving out of our house and starting to salvage material from it before it is taken down so we can build a new house on the same site. We are setting up our office in a travel trailer, and we will be staying the cook tent and upstairs church apartment.

Sunday School always includes a craft time which is a favorite among the kids, but a lot of work for the volunteer helpers.

Rob & Jennifer are teachers at the Sunchild school that help with Sunday School several times a year. Here they are in charge while Karen made her trip to the grandkids graduation in the States.

Our youth group team from Caroline, Alberta includes Adult leaders Erick and Amanda, with Amanda's daughter Rain and local girl Vada.
Our playground was rebuilt last summer and now that the sun is gone is getting lots of use again.
Tom is a pastor in Calgary, here with his wife Jane and two daughters. Estella, in white, is a church assistant that works with them. They have committed to coming one Sunday every month to assist Karen with Sunday School and are a real blessing. "UPDATE: As I was just now working on this letter, we got a phone call that Jane was just killed in a car accident! This especially touched us because when they were here on Sunday the 24th we had a very special service where God's presence was so real and everyone was in tears! I can't imagine how devastated this family is now! Please, please pray for them. They were just starting to come back to help us because Tom was just recovering from a long stay in the hospital when he wasn't expected to live. The month of May ended with Jinsu and Minsu coming again to help with Sunday School. They have committed to coming two Sundays each month!

The new addition to our family, 10 five month old hens. They are already laying eggs!
